Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy Recent Grad Wins Film Award

Nepales, a rising senior at The Art Institute of California in Los Angeles, is working toward her bachelor of science degree in digital animation. Her award comes with $1,000 worth of Adobe software.

This isn’t the first time Nepales has been honored for her filmmaking — as a student at FSHA, her film Love Will Come Through won Best Animation at Assemblymember Paul Krekorian’s Filmfest 43 in Glendale.

The 2012 Ollies Film Festival was held at the Goethe-Institut in L.A.
