John Muir Seniors Earn 13 Associate Degrees, Honored by Pasadena City Council

Seven seniors from John Muir High School Early College Magnet in Pasadena, CA, who graduated in June with a remarkable total of 13 associate degrees, were honored at the Pasadena City Council meeting on July 22, 2024. The students, part of the Pasadena Unified School District’s (PUSD) Dual Enrollment program with Pasadena City College (PCC), earned college credit during their high school years at PCC’s Northwest Campus, which is located at Muir. This program allows students to accumulate up to two years of transferable college credit while still in high school, offering significant time and cost savings for their future education.

PUSD is proud of these recent graduates, who have demonstrated exceptional dedication and achievement. They are now heading to prestigious universities, including Howard University, Columbia University, and Berkeley.
