Mayfield Junior School Student Council Installed at Traditional Mass of the Holy Spirit

The 2014-2015 Mayfield Junior School Student Council was officially installed during the annual Mass of the Holy Spirit. The officers were congratulated by Class of 2014 alumni officers and class representatives received their pins during the brief ceremony. Before continuing with the Mass, Father Alan led the assembly in a special blessing over the group. For over 80 years the Mass of the Holy Spirit has been celebrated on Mayfield’s campus. Held close to the start of school, the Mass of the Holy Spirit was to the Sisters the “official” opening celebration and an opportunity to ask God for his blessing on the year ahead.
