Pasadena Fire Department Educates St. Philip Students on Fire Safety and Preparedness

The Pasadena Fire Department recently visited St. Philip the Apostle School as part of Fire Prevention Week, providing a valuable educational experience for the students. Firefighters engaged with students across the campus, discussing crucial fire safety topics and sharing insights on how families can create effective safety plans. They emphasized the importance of recognizing warning signs and knowing how to respond in emergency situations. In addition, the kindergarten class had a special field trip to Station 34, where they learned firsthand about the vital role firefighters play as community helpers. The students left with a greater understanding of fire safety and the importance of preparedness.
