Pasadena High School Welcomes Author Lilliam Rivera

Pasadena High School (PHS) welcomes award-winning author Lilliam Rivera (author of “Dealing in Dreams) to Pasadena High School! Ms. Rivera is at PHS to speak to the students of Puente and to tell her story.

Liliam Rivera is Latinx writer who has won several awards for her novels: “Dealing in dreams” (Simon & Schuster) and The Education of Margot Sanchez (Simon & Schuster), which is attainable in Libraries everywhere. According to her website, which is her own name, she writes books for young adults. Ms. Rivera’s works have made it on shows like, Lenny Letter, Tin House, Los Angeles Times, Latina, USA Today, Cosmo for Latinas, Bellevue Literary Review, The Rumpus.net, and Los Angeles Review of Books.
