Showing Up Matters by Elliceni A. Nosler

Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD is excited to announce the winners of its Attendance Awareness Poster Contest!

In honor of September’s School Attendance Awareness Month, PUSD schools hosted various activities and events to emphasize the importance of daily, on-time attendance. To celebrate and encourage students’ commitment, the district held a poster contest for students in TK through fifth grade, sponsored by PUSD’s Student Wellness and Support Services.

The PUSD community was thrilled to see the creativity of young artists across the district. Staff cast their votes for the most inspiring attendance posters, and the top three winners have been awarded prizes. Congratulations to our talented winners:

• Elliceni A. Nosler – Willard Elementary
• Max Luna – Norma Coombs Elementary
• Samarth Pradhan – Hamilton Elementary
