PEF Hosts Engaging Youth Leader Training Ahead of Summer Enrichment Program Kickoff

Pasadena Educational Foundation (PEF) recently held its highly anticipated Youth Leader Training at the Pasadena Unified Education Center. During this engaging session, participants had the opportunity to review and discuss the “Rules to Serve By,” ensuring everyone was clear on the guidelines and expectations for the upcoming program. The youth leaders actively participated in a Q&A segment, where they could ask questions and receive valuable insights from experienced mentors.

A creative highlight of the day was when the participants got to decorate their aprons, adding a personal and artistic touch to their uniforms. This activity not only fostered a sense of individuality but also built team spirit and camaraderie among the youth leaders. As a delightful surprise, donuts were provided as a bonus treat, adding a sweet note to the training session.

The organizers and participants alike are very excited upon the commencement of the 21st Year PEF Summer Enrichment Program providing another enriching and transformative summer experience. They are hoping this year’s program is the best one yet!
