PEF Partners with CAP with its 3-week Youth Leadership Pilot Class



Pasadena Educational Foundation (PEF) is proud of its partnership with College Access Plan (CAP) this summer with the 3-week youth leadership pilot class, College Champions. 13 students cultivated an amazing community and received a leadership certificate to serve as peer mentors in their high schools upon completion.

About College Access Plan

College Access Plan (CAP) is a student-centered and foster meaningful interactions to assist students and their families through any and all college readiness and success steps, supporting them as they navigate the postsecondary and financial aid journey from middle school through college graduation. CAP strive to ensure that students consider all their options because it believes that college should be accessible to everyone regardless of academic achievement, citizenship status, or income level.

Pasadena Educational Foundation (PEF) is a nonprofit organization that advocates for public education, engages the community, and develops resources to support excellence and equity for all Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) students. Whether it be through the arts, music, health centers, gardens, or STEM programs they support, PEF is dedicated to creating a better future for the public school students of Altadena, Pasadena, and Sierra Madre.
