Poly’s Solar Car Team Competes in the 30th Annual Solar Car Challenge in Texas



Day 1 of Polytechnic School’s Solar Car team in Texas! The day included team check-in and preparing for scrutineering (a lot of last-minute fixing of the car after its long road trip from home!) Let’s hear it for Poly! The Poly Team left for Texas on July 11 to compete in the 30th Annual Solar Car Challenge hosted by Oncor and Lockheed Martin. The Solar Car Challenge was established in 1993 to help motivate students in science and engineering, and to increase alternative energy awareness.
