Polytechnic Lower School Library Hosts Festive Holiday Book Tasting!

Last week, students arriving at the Polytechnic Lower School Library were greeted by a whimsical sign outside the doors instructing them to “please wait to be seated.” The library has undergone a delightful transformation into a tasting menu of holiday books, immersing students in the festive spirit of the season. Librarians Yvette Pompa and Megan Geiger added to the festive atmosphere by donning library-themed aprons and chef hats, enhancing the playful theme. Fourth-grade students from the Class of 2033 enjoyed listening to holiday music while exploring holiday traditions from various countries, enriching their understanding of global celebrations. In the immortal words of Poly alumna Julia Child ’27, “Bon appétit!” as they embarked on this literary feast.
