PUSD Students Shine at Pasadena Latino Heritage Parade & Festival



Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) students proudly showcased their talents during the Pasadena Latino Heritage Parade & Festival. The district’s student musicians, cheerleaders, marching band, and dancers marched through the streets, bringing vibrant energy and spirit to the event. The parade culminated in a lively festival at Pasadena City Hall, where the community gathered to celebrate. Among those honored were Martin Dorado, a dedicated teacher from James Madison Elementary School, and José Hernández, a former NASA astronaut, both recognized for their outstanding contributions to education and science. The event highlighted the cultural richness and diversity of Pasadena, while also celebrating local leaders who inspire future generations.
