Ramona Convent Students Show Dedication as Election Poll Workers

Serving at a polling place requires dedication, patience, and resilience, embodying an essential civic responsibility. Seven students from Ramona Convent Secondary School were approved to serve as Student Election Workers, dedicating their time from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. this past weekend and working extended hours today from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. While dropping off his ballot, Mr. Marshall saw two of the dedicated students, Jayden F. ’26 and Jocelyn R. ’25, actively engaged in their roles. Those who visited the Garvey Center, Montebello-Commerce YMCA, Garvey Ranch Park, Glen Alta Span School, Greater Bethel Cathedral, or Granada Park may have witnessed these students receiving encouragement from the community, both for their civic involvement and for their enthusiasm in supporting the electoral process.
