San Marino Schools Foundation Supports 100+ Households After Eaton Fire

The San Marino Schools Foundation (San Marino, CA) is beyond grateful to be part of this incredible community who gave so generously to those affected by the Eaton Fire. With your donations, SMSF was able to support over 100 households with basic short-term necessities such as clothes, shoes, bedding, toiletries, toys, school supplies, and local vendor gift cards.

SMSF’s distribution center could not have been possible without the immense support from Mayor Gretchen Shepherd Romey and the City of San Marino – thank you for allowing us to use the San Marino Community Center and the Barth Community Room for almost a week.

This was a city-wide effort that included the San Marino Community Church, the San Marino Chapter of National Charity League, San Marino Girl Scouts, and SMUSD PTAs. Thank you to Original Tommy’s, Yama Seafood, San Marino Cafe, and Foundation Trustees for providing lunch for our volunteers and the affected families.

Even though its distribution center has closed, the need to support all those affected by these devastating fires still exists. Please consider donating to the GoFundMe pages of current and past SMUSD students, staff, and teachers. Campaigns are linked below and check our stories for direct links.
