SMUSD’s Munira Bengali Honored for Leadership in Student Nutrition

San Marino Unified School District (SMUSD) is thrilled to celebrate its Director of Food Services, Munira Bengali, who was recently honored alongside Congresswoman Judy Chu and other dedicated school nutrition leaders! Congresswoman Chu, a strong advocate for Child Nutrition and Universal Feeding in California, recognizes the vital work done to ensure all students have access to nourishing meals.

Under Munira’s leadership, many of SMUSD School meals are cooked from scratch, providing students with wholesome, delicious food every day. Her dedication, alongside that of her colleagues, exemplifies our district’s commitment to supporting the whole child. Join us in congratulating her and all the champions of student nutrition for this well-deserved recognition!
