SPEF Musicals Chair Todd Edwards Dazzles On and Off the Stage in The Sound of Music

Members of the South Pasadena Unified School District (SPUSD) Board enthusiastically supported Todd Edwards, Chair of SPEF Musicals, as he took the stage in The Sound of Music at the Fremont Center Theater.

Edwards plays a pivotal role in the 5th Grade Musical production, uniting aspiring young performers from all three South Pasadena elementary schools. This year, thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor, the majority of tuition costs were covered, making participation more accessible to students and easing financial burdens on families.

Last month, Shrek Jr. the Musical was brought to life by multiple casts, providing over a hundred students with the opportunity to perform, work backstage, and explore their creative talents.

The South Pasadena Educational Foundation (SPEF) Board extends its heartfelt appreciation to Edwards for his dedication and contributions to student enrichment. His passion and commitment continue to inspire, both on and off the stage.
