SPUSD: Measure SP (School Construction Bond) Seeking Applicants
Applications to be submitted by Friday, December 10th at 4 p.m.
The South Pasadena Unified School District is seeking applicants to fill four (4) vacancies on its Measure SP (school construction bond) Citizens’ Oversight Committee. While other duties are also included in the responsibilities of the Committee, its main purpose is to review expenditure reports to ensure that bond proceeds are expended only for the purposes set forth in Measure SP and to ensure that no bond proceeds are used for teacher salaries, administrative salaries, nor other operating expenses.
Committee meetings are typically held two times per year. Appointees will serve two-year terms concluding at the end of calendar year 2023*. Committee members are limited to three consecutive terms. The current members of the Committee include:
