St. Francis Golden Knights Embark on Service and Cultural Immersion Journey in South Africa

After two long flights and an extended layover in London, the St. Francis High School Mission Team has safely arrived in Pretoria, South Africa! The highlight of their first day in the country was visiting an after-school rugby club program. Here, they had the opportunity to learn the rules and techniques of the game and scrimmage with the local kids. Please keep these Golden Knights in your prayers as they continue their journey of service and cultural immersion in the coming weeks.

The Golden Knights have embraced this opportunity with intentionality, focusing on fostering relationships and building a kingdom-focused faith. Along the way, these young men have grown closer as brothers, savored new foods, and cultivated an “I am 3rd” mindset, prioritizing God first, others second, and themselves third.
