STEM SAVVY Middle School Girls’ Science Day at Pasadena City College



This year’s STEM Savvy: Girls’ Science Day for Middle School Girls, an over 25-year tradition of PCC and AAUW to spark girls’ interest in STEM studies, takes place on Sat., May 3.

The event is from 9:00 a.m. to noon, with check-in at 8:15 a.m. at Pasadena City College at the Galloway Plaza.

This FREE event is full of fun, hands-on, STEM activities with small groups of chaperoned middle school girls paired with women in STEM careers and college women in STEM majors. Activities include: Astrophysics, Bio engineering, Physiology, Robotics, Astronomy and Telescopes, Creative Chemistry, DNA exploration, Computer Science, Engineering and much more.
