The Waverly School Unveils Comprehensive Summer Programs for 2024

Pasadena institution offers diverse activities for students from kindergarten through high school



The Waverly School in West Pasadena will hold an extensive lineup of summer programs for 2024, catering to students across all grade levels. The centerpiece of their offerings is the Waverly Summer Camp, running for eight weeks through August 9.

Waverly’s Summer camp, open to students entering kindergarten through sixth grade, provides a customizable schedule to accommodate families’ needs. Daily activities include art projects, board games, sports, and special events such as Minute to Win It, Lego Creations, Water Relays, and Scavenger Hunts.

Jack Anderson, the school’s physical education teacher and after-school director, will lead the summer camp.

The school camp prices vary based on the number of days attended. Aftercare is also available for an additional charge. Families can, but are not required to, sign up their children in advance. Drop-ins are welcome.

For older students, The Waverly School has expanded its summer options. New programs include SKY Kids Breath & Meditation for ages 8-12 and SKY Teens Breath & Meditation for ages 13-17.

Additionally, the school will offer a Middle School Summer Discovery program for students entering seventh grade at Waverly with Middle School teacher Maronke Sims. An Intro to Coding course for Middle Schoolers with with Aaron Rodgers is also available.
