Waverly Literary Festival Inspires with Authors and Student Voices

The Waverly Literary Festival is off to an incredible start! Gratitude goes to Dan Santat (New York Times bestselling author of Beekle [Caldecott ’15], A First Time for Everything [National Book Award ’23], and creator of Disney’s The Replacements), Tao Nyeu (acclaimed children’s book author and illustrator), Carla Sameth (writer, educator, and mother), and Bonnie Kaplan for generously sharing their time and talents. Students are already enjoying their new books, and the festival continues with a special highlight: Waverly’s Middle and High School students will present their own original works on Thursday, November 21, at 6 p.m. in the Big Room. Don’t miss it!
