Young Waverly Scientists Explore Nature’s Life Cycles

Some of the youngest scientists at The Waverly School have been busy exploring the fascinating life cycle of butterflies. After weeks of observation, they had the exciting opportunity to release their fully-grown butterflies into the wild this week, witnessing firsthand the culmination of the transformation from caterpillar to butterfly. Their scientific journey doesn’t stop there—next up, they’ll be diving into the life cycle of a pumpkin, where they’ll explore the stages of growth from seed to harvest. These hands-on experiences are helping to nurture their curiosity and understanding of the natural world.
