For the first time in six years, soap opera devotees and daytime television fans can sit among the stars at the 52nd Daytime Emmy Awards, with $75 tickets (plus fees) now available to the general public.
The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences will present the ceremony on Friday, Oct. 17, at 4 p.m. PT in Pasadena.
“We’re excited to open the doors to Daytime fans after years of requests for an in-person audience,” said Adam Sharp, President and CEO of NATAS, when announcing that fan tickets went on sale Sept. 18, exclusively through Ticketmaster.
The ceremony represents another major change: a move from its traditional May or June scheduling to October, aiming to better highlight news and documentary programming.
The awards will recognize U.S. daytime television programming from 2024. Nominations were announced July 10.
Mario Lopez will host the ceremony, bringing what Sharp described as “the perfect blend of energy, familiarity, and star power to the stage.”
Fans unable to attend in person can watch via live streaming on Watch.TheEmmys.TV and Emmy mobile apps.
The 52nd Daytime Emmy Awards will run on Friday, Oct. 17, 2025, at 4 p.m. Pasadena Civic Auditorium, 300 E. Green St., Pasadena.
