Nearly seven months after the deadly Eaton Fire claimed at least 17 lives, members of a collaborative wellness initiative will gather for a community lunch as recovery efforts continue.

The Eaton Fire Collaborative Wellness Cluster Lunch is scheduled for August 20, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Pasadena Village’s new office.

The free event is for Wellness Cluster members.

“Members of the Eaton Fire Collaborative Wellness Cluster are invited for a lunch at Pasadena Village’s new office,” according to the official event listing.

The Eaton Fire Collaborative was formed to coordinate recovery efforts following the January wildfire.

“Our mission is to provide a coordinated response and clear communication to ensure that resources, assistance, and information reach the people and organizations that need them most,” the organization states.

The fire was fully contained on January 31.

Pasadena Village describes itself as “a community of older adults from the greater Pasadena area who have joined together to help each other as we navigate the challenges and opportunities of aging.”

“Eaton Fire Collaborative Wellness Cluster Lunch” will run on Wednesday, August 20 at 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Village Office Community Room, 236 W. Mountain St, #113, Pasadena.
