Hillsides Annual Gala Co-Chairs for 2026: Uyen-Uyen Vo, Teresa Y-Uyen Vo, and Dr. Hanh-Uyen Vo
Hillsides is proud to announce the theme and leadership for its Annual Gala 2026, Into the Wild, an immersive evening celebrating resilience, courage, and the healing journey of individuals served by the organization. The gala will take place on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at The Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites in Los Angeles.
This year’s event will be co-chaired by sisters Teresa Y-Uyen Vo, Uyen-Uyen Vo, and Dr. Hanh-Uyen Vo, affectionately known as “The Three Uyens.” United not only by family but by a shared passion for service, the sisters bring heartfelt leadership and deep commitment to Hillsides’ mission of helping people heal, grow, and thrive.
The inspiration for Into the Wild is deeply personal. The theme emerged as the sisters reflected on a formative safari experience in Africa while Hanh-Uyen was completing her veterinarian training. Witnessing wildlife in its natural environment: resilient, adaptive, and interconnected. It left a lasting impression and became a powerful metaphor for the journeys Hillsides’ clients navigate every day.
“Into the Wild reflects the unpredictable and often challenging terrain many of the children and families Hillsides serves must face,” said the gala co-chairs. “Hillsides has long been a sanctuary, a place of safety, compassion, and hope, guiding individuals out of the wilderness and toward a brighter future. We are honored to support this important work together as sisters.”
Into the Wild will transport guests into a lush, safari-inspired setting filled with vibrant colors and inspiring experiences. The evening will highlight Hillsides’ century-long legacy of care and the organization’s impact on more than 12,000 lives each year, while raising critical funds to support its comprehensive mental health services.
Guests will enjoy a hosted cocktail reception, a three-course dinner, and live entertainment provided by an eight-piece band. It will be an unforgettable night of inspiration, connection, and purpose; and an opportunity to be wild at heart while standing united in support of Hillsides’ life-changing mission.
