While most Halloween celebrations last a single night, Kidspace Children’s Museum is extending the spooky season into a six-week extravaganza from September 19 through October 31.

“Load up the family broomstick because Kidspace is brewing up a cauldron full of fun for the most fantastical celebration of the year — the Kidspace Halloween Bash!” the museum announces.

The celebration features three daily costume parades at 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m., where families can show off their Halloween creativity.

“Everyone is invited to march, dance, and rule the catwalk in our spirited Halloween parade—costumes encouraged!” the museum states.

Visitors can participate in four signature activities: the Witch’s Kitchen, an Adopt-a-Monster Imagination Workshop, a Pumpkin Bowling Alley, and Spooky Trike Rides through a haunted house that transforms the familiar museum space into something delightfully eerie.

The celebration runs during regular museum hours, Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at 480 N. Arroyo Blvd. Admission costs $15.50 for adults and children over one year old, and $13.50 for seniors 62 and older, with all Halloween activities included.

Lisa Clements, Kidspace CEO, highlights that the extended celebration reflects the institution’s mission.

Lisa Clements, Kidspace CEO, has previously stated: “Parents and educators know how important it is for children to be active, joyful, hands-on learners, and to experience the world as a fascinating place that rewards curiosity and creativity.”
