Moby will headline an open-air electronic show at Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena on Saturday, Nov. 7, with Underworld as special guest and Fcukers, Nia Archives (DJ set) and DJ Holographic rounding out a five-act, single-stage bill, according to promoter Goldenvoice’s event page. Tickets went on sale Aug. 27 at 10 a.m. through https://www.google.com/url?q=
The concert will be staged on the south side of Brookside, the grass-covered golf course adjacent to the stadium, with no overlapping sets among the five artists, Goldenvoice said. The AXS listing describes the show as all standing room and all ages, with the venue opening and music beginning at 4 p.m., Brookside parking opening at 3 p.m., no re-entry, and an 11 p.m. curfew; it will go on rain or shine, with food and beverages sold separately.
Goldenvoice and Visit Pasadena bill the date as one of only two confirmed North American live performances for Moby this year, describing the multi-platinum, five-time Grammy-nominated artist’s set as an immersive production against the backdrop of the San Gabriel Mountains. Underworld, the British duo of Karl Hyde and Rick Smith best known for “Born Slippy .NUXX,” adds a second veteran electronic act to the bill.
Brookside at the Rose Bowl, at 1133 Rosemont Ave., has become a regular concert and festival ground beside the stadium, hosting the Just Like Heaven festival on Aug. 22 this year, according to its AXS listings.
