Camerata Pacifica, the Southern California chamber music ensemble founded in 1990 by former flutist Adrian Spence, performs at Rothenberg Hall at The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens on Tuesday, March 3, from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets are $75.

The concert arrives weeks after Musical America named Spence to its prestigious Top 30 Professionals list in January 2026, recognizing his 36 years leading Camerata Pacifica and his creation of The Nightingale Channel, a curated classical music service delivering programming to hospital patients via iPads and in-room systems.

“I am incredibly honored to be named one of Musical America’s Top 30 Professionals,” Spence said. “It affirms my life’s work, building and nurturing Camerata Pacifica and sharing the power of classical music with the broader community through live concerts and the Nightingale Channel.”

The March 3 program opens with Madeleine Dring’s Trio for Flute, Oboe and Piano, followed by the world premiere of a Wind Quintet by David Bruce. The evening also features Cécile Chaminade’s Thème varié, Op. 89, and closes with Dvořák’s Sextet after the Quintet in A Major, Op. 81, in an arrangement by David Jolley.

Rothenberg Hall is a 374-seat auditorium noted for excellent acoustics and white oak paneling. Parking is free; a shuttle runs between the parking lot and the hall. Patrons should enter via the Allen Gate.

Camerata Pacifica in Concert will run on Tuesday, March 3, at 7:30 p.m. Rothenberg Hall at The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens, 1151 Oxford Road, San Marino.
