The concert is one of 23 North American dates on The Great Divide Tour, according to Live Nation, the run behind Kahan’s fourth studio album, released in April. For Pasadena, it adds a major concert to the calendar of a stadium far better known for UCLA football and the annual Rose Bowl Game.
Kahan, a Vermont-born singer-songwriter whose 2022 album “Stick Season” widened his audience sharply, is billed by tour materials as a two-time Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum artist. Gigi Perez is set to open; the Live Nation event page also lists Annabelle Dinda. The Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026, show begins at 6:30 p.m., with gates opening at 5:00 p.m.
The venue is central to the local angle. The Rose Bowl Stadium, at 1001 Rose Bowl Drive, is owned by the City of Pasadena and operated by the Rose Bowl Operating Company, a nonprofit tied to UCLA and the Pasadena Tournament of Roses. Opened in October 1922 and recognized as a National Historic Landmark, the stadium sits in the Arroyo Seco on the city’s west side.
The tour is produced by Live Nation and supports “The Great Divide,” released April 24 through Mercury Records. The album’s title track reached No. 1 on Spotify’s Top Songs USA chart on release, the tour’s press materials state. Kahan announced the record on social media in January, writing that its songs are “the words I would say if I could.”
Tickets are sold through Ticketmaster, which is handling the tour under its Face Value Exchange. Tickets are non-transferable in most states and can be resold only on Ticketmaster at their original price; a handful of states, including New York and Colorado, permit transfers but still cap resale at face value. A limited number of $100 presale “front porch” tickets sold out, and reported starting prices for the tour ran around $220, according to published reports. On his official website, Kahan said of the approach: “we’re doing what we can to help protect against scalpers.” For this show, the organizers state there are no ticket transfers.
For those attending, parking lots and shuttle service open at 2:30 p.m., alongside a “Happy Hour at Brookside” running from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Patrons ages 3 and older need a full-priced ticket; children 2 and under may attend free on an adult’s lap.
