Here are the Pets of the Week available for adoption at the Pasadena Humane Society this week:
Meet Swiper (A-22200)! Swiper is a 7-year-old cattle dog mix with a gentle spirit and a talent for finding the best shady spots in town. Recently found as a stray, he hasn’t let his past dim his sunny outlook one bit. On a recent foster field trip, Swiper enjoyed an In-N-Out pup patty, a pup cup, and a leisurely walk through the park, where he happily took breaks to relax in the grass and enjoy the breeze.
Easygoing and affectionate, Swiper is the kind of dog who prefers quality time over excitement. He was calm around children, politely observed other dogs from a distance, and charmed his foster chaperones with his patient, sweet nature. While toys didn’t catch his attention, treats, pets, and gentle cuddles certainly did. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who appreciates life’s simple pleasures, Swiper is ready to settle in by your side!
The adoption fee for dogs is $150. All dog adoptions include spay or neuter, microchip, and age-appropriate vaccines.

New adopters will receive a complimentary health-and-wellness exam from VCA Animal Hospitals, as well as a goody bag filled with information about how to care for your pet.

Regan (A-21655) is a lovable 4-year-old pit bull with an incredible personality and a big, wiggly smile. She’s an affectionate, people-friendly girl who happily accepts pets, takes treats gently, and already knowns how to “sit” and “lie down”. Regan enjoys getting out and exploring the world, spending plenty of time sniffing along her walks, and enjoying some time couch-side watching the World Cup.
While she can be enthusiastic on leash, Regan has shown she can walk calmly, handle new situations well, and has quickly become a staff and volunteer favorite. With her sweet nature, happy energy, and loving heart, Regan is ready to find a family of her own. Come meet Regan and see why she’s impossible not to love!
