Ronald McDonald House Pasadena will hold its annual SHINE Gala on Saturday, Oct. 17, returning the fundraiser to Annandale Golf Club in Pasadena after last year’s event moved to The Westin Pasadena, according to the organization’s event listing.
The evening, themed “Celebrate Care & Compassion in Bloom,” will run from dinner and dancing to an auction, and all support raised will benefit families staying at the House, the organization said. Sponsorships and tickets are on sale.
Annandale Golf Club is at 1 N. San Rafael Ave. in Pasadena. The event coordinator is Trisha Steltzner, who can be reached at (626) 204-0410.
The gala is the House’s annual fundraiser. It was held at Annandale in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 before moving to The Westin Pasadena for the 2025 edition, SHINE Gala: Moonlit Magic.
Ronald McDonald House Pasadena opened in 2004 and occupies three historic homes near Huntington Health and Shriners Children’s, with 17 guest bedrooms, a fully stocked pantry and therapeutic family support services for families whose children are receiving medical treatment, according to the House as of October 2022. The House provides 2,592 overnight stays and draws more than 5,000 hours of volunteer service each year, according to its website.
The 2022 event, SHINE Gala: Under the Tuscan Sun, brought more than 280 people to Annandale and raised more than $340,000. The 2024 gala, marking the House’s 20th anniversary, drew 335 guests.
