Every Thursday evening from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Anayas Restaurant in Pasadena’s Playhouse Village transforms into a gathering place where whiskey and mojitos flow freely to the sounds of live music, no cover charge required.
“Looking for free evening entertainment in Playhouse Village? Anayas Restaurant hosts live music and cocktail specials every Thursday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at its location on 630 E. Colorado Boulevard,” according to a January 7, 2026 article in Pasadena Now.
The restaurant, operating as Los 3 Anayas, Inc., has made the Thursday “Whiskey & Mojitos” program a regular part of its weekly offerings.
“The event is free to attend with no cover charge,” Pasadena Now notes, adding that “the restaurant, operating as Los 3 Anayas, Inc., offers full dining service alongside the beverage promotions.”
At the heart of each Thursday night is Rodrigo, the musician who performs regularly at the event.
News N’ Roses newsletter describes it simply: “Sip whiskey and mojitos while enjoying live music from Rodrigo during this Thursday night hang.”
Located at 630 E. Colorado Blvd., Anayas describes itself as “the newest restaurant from the Anaya family, bringing authentic flavors of Mexico to Pasadena.”
Visit Pasadena adds that “Anaya’s is known for their quality of food as their dishes are made from scratch and packed full of flavor.”
The upcoming February 12, 2026 event continues the weekly tradition.
