Kidspace Children’s Museum launches its fifth annual Winter Frolic event this weekend through January 11, promising a festive and mdemorable winter wonderland for children and families in Pasadena.
The purpose of Winter Frolic is to provide a special place for families to connect and create joyful memories, offering a break from the holiday hustle for kids to lead the fun.
“Winter Frolic captures the warmth and joy of the season by giving families a special place to connect and play together,” said Kidspace CEO Lisa Clements.
“It’s a time to pause the holiday hustle to let the kids take the lead and make joyful memories as a family.”
Winter Frolic features a bigger no-ice Sock Skating Rink where children and parents can twirl, glide and penguin-slide.
Guests can take a trike ride through a giant gingerbread house, discover a hidden gnome village and dress up the snowman family for their holiday road trip.
This is just the tip of the iceberg — families will enjoy a flurry of hands-on wintertime activities and special events at one of Southern California’s favorite family holiday celebrations.
Special highlights include “sharing some festive joy with the Pasadena Tournament of Roses 2026 Rose Court out on the Sock Skating Rink on December 5 during First Free Friday.”
The season’s main event, the ultimate Frosty Fete, Winter Dance Party, invites everyone to “shake your snowflakes and sleigh the day” on December 13.
Families are encouraged to “come frolic and play the Kidspace way this holiday season and make everyone’s holiday wish come true — treasured moments that fill your heart with warm and lasting memories.”
Kidspace reminds visitors that admission makes the perfect gift for family, friends and neighbors.
Flexible annual family memberships offer free daily admission, discounts and exclusive events.
The Kidspace Museum Store features gifts to surprise and delight every child, including “heirloom-quality toys, the softest cuddly plush animals, and books that become instant family favorites.” Shoppers can browse in-store or online at
