No one was injured when a big rig carrying oranges burst into flames today on the Foothill (210) Freeway, near the tunnel transition in Pasadena, a fire official said.
The crash on eastbound freeway, just east of Mountain Seco Street, was reported to the California Highway Patrol about 2:45 p.m.
Lisa Derderian of the Pasadena Fire Department said there were no injuries, adding that heavy smoke and emergency equipment affected traffic for approximately 45 minutes.
