Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar, a fine dining restaurant chain founded in 1998 in Newport Beach, said this week it anticipates opening its doors in Pasadena in early October.
Locals have watched as the new building has gone up just north of the AT&T building at 179 E Colorado Blvd., on the northwest corner of North Marengo Avenue.
The chain, which has over 66 locations in the United States, last opened a restaurant in Las Vegas in January 2014.
The restaurant features fine steak cuts aged for a minimum of 21 days, seafood favorites such as ahi tuna and lobster tempura, a variety of indulgent desserts, and a special award-winning wine program that offers over 100 wins available by either glass or bottle, according to the press release
The restaurant will also have premium design elements, such as a wine room and champagne-inspired pendant lights.
The new location will be lead by operating partner Connie Alvarez and chef partner Derek Reshaw, who both have extensive backgrounds in the industry with more than 12 combined years of experience at Fleming’s.
