Pasadena, Calif. – The Pasadena City College Florence Study Abroad Program is open to anyone interested in experiencing the rich culture of Italy while earning 11 units of college credit and taking an Italian language course. Pre-departure classes at PCC are scheduled for August 25 – September 3, 2014. The program begins September 5th and ends on December 1, 2014.
Rita D'Amico, Associate Professor of Italian and Karen Carlisi, Associate Professor of English will lead the program. Course offerings include Italian Culture and Cinema, Linguistics and Humanities. The cost of the program is $8200 which includes round trip airfare, housing in Florence, fully-escorted excursions to Rome, Pisa, Siena, and San Gimignano, museum passes, and a 10-day Fall Break. This price does not include airline taxes.
