Casa Treatment Center Hires New Director of Fund Development

Casa Treatment Center, a Pasadena-based treatment center designed to meet the needs of women in addiction recovery, has recently appointed Hillary Schenk as Director of Fund Development.

Schenk has served many nonprofits within Southern California and Pasadena for the past 25 years. She is experienced in fundraising, nonprofit leadership, strategic planning, and financial management. Since August 2021, she has been Director of Development at the Boys and Girls Club of Burbank and Greater East Valley, Inc.   

Schenk spent the past nine years as the Managing Director for Boston Court Performing Arts Center in Pasadena. She’s also worked as the Casting Director and Theater Manager for American Girl Place at the Grove. 

Schenk started her career in Chicago as Administrative Director for Lookingglass Theater Company and has worked with organizations such as Cabrillo Music Theater, Red Moon Theater and the Education Foundation for Nuclear Science, Publisher of the Bulletin for Atomic Scientists. She completed a BFA in Theater in 1997 at DePaul University. 

After the appointment was announced, Schenck said she is thrilled to be part of an amazing organization and is happy to be back in the Pasadena community.

Founded in 1967, Casa Treatment Center implements a woman-centered program focusing on the life-altering experiences of women from diverse backgrounds. 

The Center provides individualized treatment plans specifically designed to address addiction, trauma and mental health disorders. Their Residential, Outpatient and Sober Living programs serve hundreds of adult women each year.
