Pasadena Tournament of Roses Announces 2025 Float Awards Judges

As preparations for the 136th Rose Parade® presented by Honda hit full stride, the Pasadena Tournament of Roses® is thrilled to announce the selection of Morgan Anderson, Bill Brzeski and Drew Rios as the distinguished judges for the 2025 Float Awards sponsored by FTD®.

Each of these esteemed judges brings a unique perspective — whether in botanical artistry and floristry education, Hollywood set design or innovative floral creations.

The 2025 Float Awards will be announced at 6 a.m. on New Year’s Day, just hours before the Rose Parade, on the steps of Tournament House in Pasadena.

Each year, the judging panel selects 24 float awards, highlighting excellence in three categories: Float Design, Floral Presentation and Entertainment Value. The judges look for innovative designs and impeccable execution that showcase floral artistry and creative brilliance, all aligned with this year’s theme, “Best Day Ever!”

The pinnacle of the awards is the coveted Sweepstakes Trophy, given to the most beautiful entry encompassing float design, floral presentation and entertainment.

As the award-winning floats glide down the parade route, they’ll proudly be led by banners carried by Tournament of Roses Eagle Scout Troops and Gold Award Girl Scout Troops—an iconic tradition that showcases the Parade’s spirit of community and achievement.

On the morning of January 1, 2025, the world will tune in as Tournament of Roses President Ed Morales announces the winners on the steps of Tournament House. The 136th Rose Parade presented by Honda will officially begin at 8:00 a.m. PST, captivating viewers from across the globe as America’s New Year Celebration® kicks off in unforgettable style.
