Arhaus, the artisan-crafted home furnishings retailer, will open its showroom in Pasadena marking its latest expansion in California and its 104th showroom nationwide.

Located at 35 North De Lacey Avenue in Old Pasadena, the new store occupies the historic Penn Oil Building, a 1925 structure featuring a 47-foot tower and approximately 38,000 square feet of leasable space across two floors, according to LoopNet. The site sits at the corner of De Lacey Avenue and Union Street in Old Pasadena, also confirmed by LoopNet.

The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce confirmed the opening date and location, and listed Sean Ames as the store’s contact person according to its business directory. Arhaus’ local phone number is (626) 481-6878.

Founded in 1986 by John Reed and his father Jack Reed in Cleveland, Ohio, Arhaus is now headquartered in Boston Heights, Ohio. The company went public on NASDAQ under the ticker symbol ARHS on Nov. 4, with an IPO valued at $1.75 billion.

The Pasadena showroom joins a growing California footprint that includes Arhaus’ largest state location in Corte Madera, which opened in November at 27,800 square feet. The average Arhaus showroom spans approximately 16,000 square feet.

Arhaus reported $1.271 billion in net revenues for 2024 and operated 103 showrooms across 30 states as of year-end. The company described 2024 as its largest one-year expansion in nearly four decades.

The Pasadena location will offer complimentary interior design services and White Glove Delivery, which includes unpacking, inspection, assembly, placement and debris removal. Delivery rates range from $299 locally to $599 in extended areas and up to $1,699 for Alaska and Hawaii. Arhaus also operates a Trade Program offering 7 to 10 percent commission to interior designers and real estate professionals.

Sustainability remains central to Arhaus’ mission. According to Arhaus.com and CSRwire, the company has pledged never to use rainforest-harvested wood, donated $10 million to The Nature Conservancy to preserve 54,000 acres in Borneo according to Arhaus.com, and partnered with American Forests to plant 1 million trees by 2031. Arhaus also uses reclaimed and recycled materials including salvaged wood from old buildings, railroad tracks and barns.

According to HFBusiness, Arhaus opened a 500,000-square-foot upholstery manufacturing facility in Conover, North Carolina in 2022, employing more than 300 people.

The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce described the showroom as “expansive and inspiring,” spotlighting its globally curated collections and complimentary design services. Arhaus echoed the excitement in a Facebook event listing, stating, “We’re excited to open our store in Pasadena, CA on 10/17. We offer unique, high quality, and well-designed home furnishings and decor.”
