The City of Pasadena released this photograph of the mountain lion sighted midday in the area of Del Mar Boulevard and Euclid Avenue. [City of Pasadena]A shelter-in-place advisory was issued Friday in Pasadena after a mountain lion was spotted near Del Mar Boulevard and Euclid Avenue in front of an apartment complex shortly after 12 noon.
Animal control officers were on scene with the Pasadena Police Department, and traffic in the immediate area may be affected by road closures.
The city released a photograph of the actual mountain lion, and California Department of Fish and Wildlife officers are responding, according to city spokesperson Lisa Derderian.
Please shelter in place if you are near this area as a precaution.
No injuries have been reported.
