The Urban Forestry Advisory Committee will meet Wednesday, Aug. 12, at 6 p.m. to receive an update on the city’s tree planting program for the current fiscal year.

The tree planting update is listed as an information item and presentation only, so no committee vote is scheduled on it. The rest of the agenda is procedural: approving the May 13 meeting minutes, public comment on items not on the agenda limited to five minutes, committee announcements, and adjournment. The meeting is open to the public.

Here’s what to know if you plan to attend. The event is the Urban Forestry Advisory Committee’s regular monthly meeting, which will include the FY 26 Tree Planting Program update. It is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 12, at 6 p.m. at 233 W. Mountain St., Second Floor, Room 220, in Pasadena.
