Pasadena’s Dysautonomia Network Marks Its First Community Space With an Oct. 3 Housewarming Fundraiser

The Los Angeles Dysautonomia Network, a Pasadena nonprofit for people with autonomic-nervous-system disorders, will celebrate its first community space with a housewarming fundraiser Saturday, Oct. 3, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Playhouse District.

The event will be held at the group’s new office and gathering space at 696 E. Colorado Blvd., Suite 220. Guests can tour the space, enjoy complimentary wine, beer and small bites, hear live acoustic music and bid in a silent auction, according to the network’s event listing. Attendees will also be able to buy naming rights to furniture and fixtures in the new space. Proceeds support the network’s programming and the operating costs of its new home.

The organization said the event marks the official grand opening of the space with a ribbon cutting and that Rep. Judy Chu is expected to attend.

Tickets are limited and available through the network’s online fundraising page.

The Los Angeles Dysautonomia Network, known as LADN, grew out of a Pasadena support group for people with postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome and was formed as a nonprofit in 2020. It offers support groups, educational workshops and a healthcare-access grant program for Californians with dysautonomia.

Parking is available in the lot at 695 E. Green St., with the first hour free.
