Pasadena-Based ABT Mining Acquires AutoClaim, An Accident Documentation App

Pasadena-based ABT Mining Co. has acquired AutoClaim, the app that puts a complete accident documentation and claim management system literally at your fingertips.

Scheduled for release as a free download late this year, the app is intended to revolutionize the multi-billion dollar auto insurance claim industry at an operational and strategic level, benefiting not only the automobile owner but also law enforcement, accident investigators and auto insurance companies.

The app can be utilized by all of the over 200 million licensed drivers in the United States, including commercial fleets, municipalities, and government agency drivers.

Using AutoClaim, anyone involved in a vehicular accident can contact authorities and loved ones immediately with the click of a button or by voice commands. From the scene, the motorist can just input the type of accident, and he will be guided through the accident-documentation process.

The app will also take photos and videos of the accident, other vehicles and the accident scene. A video or voice recorder can also take witness statements – great help for traffic investigators. Its geo-mapping feature will pinpoint your vehicle’s location, and even place images of the accident on the map for proper documentation.

AutoClaim will also have a feature that will allow the driver to identify his injuries or the injuries of his passengers and of the driver and passengers of the other vehicle, even before the arrival of paramedic help. Through the app, anyone involved in an accident could get in touch immediately with accident service providers, from towing services to rental agencies, doctors and attorneys.
