All Saints Church will hold a postcard-writing session on Wednesday, Sept. 16, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Forum, according to an announcement from the church. The church’s Pasadena campus is at 132 North Euclid Avenue.

Participants will write postcards to voters of color in North Carolina and Georgia ahead of the 2026 midterm election, with a church-stated goal of 1,000 cards. Election Day is Nov. 3, 2026. The church said it is partnering with the Center for Common Ground, which it describes as a nonpartisan, Black- and women-led voting-rights organization founded in 2018 that focuses on voter suppression in states where more than 20% of voters are voters of color — Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Texas.

The church said it will provide postcards, addresses, scripts, guidelines and best practices, and asked attendees to bring their own pens and postcard stamps if possible. According to the announcement, donations toward stamps are welcome from those who are unable to write cards.

The church said the effort builds on its Sacred Being, Sacred Ground and Beloved Community Circles, in which members have worked toward greater understanding of racial and ethnic justice. It asked participants to register in advance to reserve their postcards.

Here is what to know before attending. The event, which the church bills as “Make Good Trouble! Write Postcards to Increase Voter Turnout,” is set for Wednesday, Sept. 16, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Forum at All Saints Church, 132 North Euclid Avenue. The announcement lists no admission cost, and it asks those who cannot write cards to consider donating toward stamps; parking details were not listed.
