The Altadena Chamber of Commerce & Civic Association has initiated an urgent call for feedback from its members affected by a recent wildfire, saying it hopes to launch efforts to assess and address the needs of the local business community.

“We understand that many of you have faced significant challenges, and we are eager to lend a helping hand,” said Judy Matthews of the Altadena Chamber of Commerce & Civic Association in a letter dated January 10, 2025.

“To better understand the needs of our chamber members and the community, we kindly request that you share your experiences and concerns with us,” Matthews wrote. “We would like to gather information on how we can be of assistance, whether it’s providing resources, facilitating connections, or offering other forms of support.”

The Chamber has established an online form to collect member feedback, available online here:

“Your input will be shared with the San Gabriel Valley Association of Chamber Executives (VACE), and your collective voice will help inform our efforts to advocate for the needs of our community,” the letter stated.

Recognizing potential accessibility issues, the Chamber has implemented measures to reach affected individuals who may not have internet access. “If you know of someone who has been affected by the wildfire and may not have access to the internet, please share their name and contact information with us,” Matthews wrote. “We will ensure that they receive direct outreach from our team by Thursday, January 16th.”

Members can access a dedicated Google Form to provide their feedback, with the Chamber emphasizing that all responses will help shape their support efforts.

The initiative represents part of the Chamber’s ongoing response to the wildfire’s aftermath. “Your input and feedback are invaluable to us, and we appreciate your collaboration in this effort,” the letter concluded.
