Community members will gather on May 1, Thursday, for the 52nd Annual Pasadena Mayor’s Interfaith Prayer Breakfast, an event centered on prayer, reflection, and the theme “Resilient Pasadena: Rebuilding Our Community’s Future.”
Hosted by the nonprofit Friends In Deed, the event will bring together Mayor Victor M. Gordo and attendees at the Pasadena Convention Center for a morning of spiritual engagement. Doors will open at 6:45 a.m., with the program running from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. Tickets are available for $45.
“We hope you will join us for what is sure to be a moving and spiritual morning,” the organizers said.
Since its inception more than five decades ago, the prayer breakfast has provided a space for members of Pasadena’s interfaith community to gather in a spirit of unity. The event will feature prayers and reflections aligned with this year’s theme, emphasizing resilience and rebuilding for the future.
The Pasadena Methodist Foundation/First United Methodist Church of Pasadena and the United Nations Association of Pasadena are sponsoring the event.
