
Students who were forced to evacuate and no longer reside within the geographic boundaries outlined by the Tournament remain qualified, provided they currently attend a school located in the designated area.
“We recognize the strength it takes to move forward after such a loss, and we’re committed to ensuring eligible students have the opportunity to be part of the Rose Court experience,” the Tournament said.
Members of the Rose Court will ride in the 137th Rose Parade presented by Honda and attend the 112th Rose Bowl Game presented by Prudential, both on Thursday, Jan. 1.
“These are experiences that will not only enrich their lives but also have a lasting impact on the communities they serve,” the Tournament said.
The Tournament announcement said the organization is “excited to continue the treasured legacy of the Rose Court, a legacy that has inspired its members to connect with their communities, give back in meaningful ways, and grow in self-confidence from valuable experiences.”
Eligible applicants must reside and attend school full time within the Pasadena Community College District Map or one of seven nearby ZIP codes, including Eagle Rock, Highland Park, San Gabriel, and Alhambra.
The Tournament seeks a diverse slate of candidates who show strengths in public speaking, leadership, academics and community involvement.
Each Rose Court member will receive a $7,500 educational scholarship.
Initial interviews will be held at Tournament House on Saturday, Sept. 6, from 10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m., and Monday, Sept. 8, from 3 to 6 p.m.
The 2026 Rose Court will be announced Monday, Sept. 29, at 9 a.m. The 107th Rose Queen Announcement & Coronation will take place Tuesday, Oct. 28. Time is to be determined.
