Three juvenile suspects armed with a handgun robbed a 23-year-old man inside his home Wednesday afternoon, making off with gaming consoles and jewelry before fleeing on foot, according to Pasadena Police.
The home invasion occurred in the 900 block of Summit Avenue and was reported to police at 1:53 p.m. on May 28, said Lieutenant Matt Campeau of the Pasadena Police Department.
The victim was inside his residence when he noticed sunlight coming through his front door, Campeau said. When he turned around, he saw three juvenile boys entering his home through the front door.
One of the suspects immediately pulled out a black handgun with a mounted light and pointed it at the victim, ordering him to get on the ground, according to Campeau. While the armed suspect controlled the victim, the other two suspects ransacked the front portion of the residence.
The gunman then ordered the victim to go to the bathroom while all three suspects ransacked the remainder of the house, Campeau said.
The suspects stole two PlayStation gaming consoles, a gold necklace with a Virgin de Guadalupe pendant, and a Gucci belt before fleeing on foot, according to police. The victim was not injured during the incident, said Campeau .
