
The Pasadena Board of Education will hold its regular meeting on Thursday, April 29, to act on several issues, including the pending submission of a grant application to the California Academic Partnership Program for the Systemic Pathways for Successful High School Transition (HST) Grant Project, and a proposal to offer Ethnic Studies at district beginning in the 2021-22 school year.
Also up for discussion and action by the board are two proposals for COVID-19-related site assessment surveys, as well as other proposed contracts, purchases and administrative matters.
Currently, the Board of Education includes Kimberly Kenne representing District 1, Jennifer Hall Lee from District 2, Michelle Richardson Bailey of District 3, Patrick Cahalan of District 4, Elizabeth Pomeroy of District 5, Tina Wu Fredericks from District 6, and Scott Phelps from District 7.
