Caltech’s Hameetman Center 220 – Multipurpose Room to Host Two-Day Red Cross Blood Drive, Seeking First-Time Donors

The American Red Cross will conduct a blood drive at the California Institute of Technology’s Hameetman Center 220 – Multipurpose Room in Pasadena on Wednesday and Thursday, Jan. 8 and 9, 2025.

The two-day blood drive, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., aims to attract donors from diverse backgrounds across the campus community.

Organizers are particularly focused on recruiting first-time donors, emphasizing that individual contributions can have life-saving impacts for patients in need of blood transfusions.

Prospective donors must bring valid California identification or a driver’s license and are advised to eat nutritiously and maintain proper hydration before their appointment.
