Fire Chief Issues New Red Flag Warning and Announces Parking Restrictions through Tuesday

On Sunday Pasadena Fire Chief Chad Augustin directed another activation of the Red Flag Parking Restrictions within the city. This alert is effective starting 8 a.m., Monday, January 20 through 6 p.m., Tuesday, January 21, unless conditions change.

To allow for improved fire department access and resident evacuation, parking is restricted on posted narrow and/or winding roads within Pasadena’s urban-wildland interface areas. Vehicles on restricted roads will be cited and towed.
